Hi
I was striving arround through the new PIX Command Reference and CLI Guide, but didn't find an answer to my question:
Since there are a lot of new VPN features in the new OS Version I was wondering, whether the feature "allow local LAN" will be supported, so that there wouldn't be anymore a need for split-tunneling.
If anyone knows anything about this, please give me a reply...
thanks
Stefan

thanks for the answer, but can you give me an explicit quote?

Improves support for spoke-to-spoke VPN communications, when a Cisco PIX Security Appliance is acting as a hub, by allowing VPN traffic to enter and leave through the same interface
Enables remote-access VPN connections to be terminated on the outside interface of a Cisco PIX Security Appliance, allowing Internet-destined traffic from remote-access user VPN tunnels to leave through the same interface it arrived at (after firewall rules, URL filtering policies, and other security checks have been optionally applied)

cheers!
thanks for the reply. I've already seen this passage, but wasn't quite sure, whether it refers to the function of the local LAN feature.
