VPN Config migration-3005 to 3020

Does anyone know if the config from a 3005 will import directly into a 3020? I know the configuration is basically the same, but the 3005 is the only concentrator that runs a different code than the rest of the 3000 series.

To upload the configuration of the 3005 into a 3020 concentrator just follow these steps:

- On the 3005 go to:

Administration | File Management

look for your CONFIG file and click on View, select everything you get there and paste it into a notepad and save it on your local pc. Then get access to the 3020 with the same pc, and go to:

Administration | File Management | File Upload

Under File on the VPN 3000 Concentrator type "CONFIG" which is the name of the config file, then look for the file you saved from the 3005 and click "Upload".

After a successful upload, go to

Administration | System Reboot

and reboot the concentrator without saving the active configuration.

The 3020 may reboot with the new configuration.
