VPN Connection Certificate Error

We have a Cisco RV 340 that we have configured for PPTP Server; Client-To-Site VPN settings are also configured to support this.

When attempting to create a VPN, the error message "The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value" is presented and the VPN shutdown.

Can anyone provide some help on what this means?

The error "The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value" means you need to ensure the fqdn you are connecting to needs to match the certificate's CN. So if the CN of the certificate is vpn.domain.com, ensure you connect to vpn.domain.com not the ip address.
