VPN connection is closed after two seconds

Hi,

 

I have an issue with Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client version 4.10.00093 on Windows 10.

After entering the password and clicking the "Accept button" the welcome message for the VPN displays.

Two seconds later a message box shows, displaying the text"The secure gateway has terminated the VPN connection. The following message was received from the secure gateway:User requested".

Right after this, a second message box shows, displaying the text:"AnyConnect was not able to establish a connection to the specified secure gateway. Please try connecting again".

The message history for the connection attempt looks like this:

09:44:25 User accepted banner.

09:44:26 Establishing VPN - Configuring system...
09:44:26 Establishing VPN...
09:44:26 Connected to <XYZ>.
09:44:28 Connection attempt has failed.
09:44:28 VPN session ended.
09:44:29 Ready to connect.

 

This occurs since the last windows update.

 

Any suggestions?

Any solution found? Does somebody knows the reason why it happens?

Hello,

In my case I have found the solution. The version 4.10 is not compatible
with Windows 7. I have installed 4.8 and it worked for me.
