Long story and a few bugs later I can tell you (official support story)
- either built in VPN client is Cisco-compatible and several people have been using it.
- Anyconnect 3.0 ... soon to come as IPSec client for ASA.
- Anyconnect 2.x as SSL client.
Unofficially, I've been running 4.9.01.0180 without a problem for a year now.
