VPN/GPRS

Hi,

I'm testing a VPN tunnel with some O.S. and some connections types.

I'm using a PIX 515 as IPSEC end-point and Cisco VPN Client 3.5 as client

Some tests (i.e. WinXP/Client 3.5/GSM, WinXP/Client 3.5/Dial-up 56K are OK)

I encountered some problems using a GPRS connection, in fact the IPSEC didn't work

The error on Client logfile is:

"Sev=Info/4 CM/0x63100014

Unable to establish Phase 1 SA with server "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" because of "DEL_REASON_PEER_NOT_RESPONDING""

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Bye

Looks like client is unable to contact the concentrator. Do you see the packet on the side of concentrator ? What does the log file of concentrator say ? If for some reason concentrator did ont get the packet, it obviously will not reply - but client thinks concentrator is not responding, so keeps retransmitting and will give up. This will show up as the error message you quoted above.

Check why client is unable to reach concentrator. Does a basic ping work between client and concentrator with GPRS ?
