VPN is started at startup of AnyConnect even when the option is disabled

Dear,

We are piloting at this moment the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 4.0.00048 on Windows 7 x64 clients.  One of the issues we have is that the VPN is automatically started when the AnyConnect is started, even when the option "Start VPN when AnyConnect is started" is unchecked.

So: user starts its computer, logs on - the Cisco AnyConnect client is started and automatically it creates a VPN, even though the option is set like mentioned in the screenshot attached.

Can you clarify?

I've seen a similar issue several times also with older clients.

In my cases it has always been one of the following problems:

1) at least one profile has <AutomaticVPNPolicy> set to true

2) at least one profile has <AutoConnectOnStart> set to true
