VPN issue with WWAN broadband connection

Hi,

my company is using the VPN client version 5.0.07.0290.

The VPN connection is working on any Wireless Lan or Ethernet network but not in combination with a WWAN internet connection.

After some research it seems to be that the VPN software doesn't support the new NDIS in Windows 7 pro

"Due to recent upgrades to the Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) in Windows 7, VPN software complying with NDIS in previous versions of Windows may not be supported in Windows 7. VPN developers are currently working to release new VPN clients that will function with Mobile Broadband."

Is this issuse known ? Is an newer version from VPN Cisco availbale solving this issue ?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Consider migration to AnyConnect VPN. End Of Life for cisco VPN client released.

I'm not sure I get your point. You mean that the version I use is the last version to be relased and another software Anyconnect has to replace it.

Do you any if Anyconnect is solving this issue ?

I'm sure that it is not last version, but I suggest you to prepare to move to AnyConnectVPN instead of CiscoVPN Client because all new features will be implemented here.
