VPN not getting connected only in Vista

Hi,

I use windows vista & installed the cisco vpn dialer. when i tried connecting using through this, all i get is "negotiating security policies" & then it says "not connected". The same pcf when used in windows XP/2003 it perfectly connects. Any idea? I have attached the error for your reference.

Hi,

if you are using Cisco cleint- I read in one of the forum responses that client for 64bit Vista is not yet released. you may have to go with third party cleints.

Do a quick search in this forum, you will be able to fine more info.

What version of the client are you using?

Please can you enable logging on the VPN client as well as debugging on the ASA and post the output of the logs here. Make sure the log settings on the VPN client for everything is set to 3. Once you've done that, post the output here.

For the ASA, please enable the following debugs and post the output here:

debug crypto isa 127

debug crypto ips 127
