VPN PPTP and Manual DHCP bind

Hi,

We have fresh and new ISR1921 here. We actually have a PPTP VPN for our external users. I am actually trying to assign some specific ip address to someone who connect via the VPN but I can't achieve this.

Here is the configuration:

interface Virtual-Template1

ip address 10.40.42.200 255.255.254.0

ip nat inside

ip virtual-reassembly in

peer default ip address dhcp-pool bcn-pool

no keepalive

ppp encrypt mppe auto required

ppp authentication pap

ip dhcp pool bcn-pool

network 10.40.42.0 255.255.254.0

default-router 10.40.42.1

dns-server 10.40.42.1

domain-name lafourchette.lan

lease 0 12

!

ip dhcp pool darkuja

host 10.40.42.61 255.255.254.0

hardware-address a4ba.xxxx.xxxx

I can see why it doesn't assign the good ip address, because it's not in the dhcp-pool list of the virtual-template but I can't see how to make this works.

Any ideas?

This type of configuration is not supported for PPTP clients.
