Vpn users cannot see inside

Hi

I've configured a pix firewall 7.0 and its configured to accept vpn l2tp connection from outside,when i choose vpn ip pool addresses from inside interface the users can see the devices that locate in inside and communicate with them ,but when i change the pool to another ip address range i mean a different range of inside ip address ,they cannot communicate with inside devices !!

Are you able to ping the devices?

As i said if i configured pool address on same range as inside interface then they can ping but if i define the pool from different address then

they can not ping inside devices.
