If we are talking AnyConnect VPN then the clients will no longer be able to establish a VPN connection. The Certificate would either need to be renewed and new cert. installed on the ASA and configured to be used for authentication...or...remove the certificate from being used completely. The ASA should establish a VPN to the remote client when there is no certificate installed, but this is not a secure solution and it is not recommended.
