why are some of my networks dropping inside my point to point vpn tunnel?

I have 5 networks inside a point to point tunnel, (ASA 5510 to ASA 5506) one or more of the networks will drop out, the tunnel is still up.  To get the network back, I have to Power Cycle the ASA 5510.  It will not come back with reset.

thanks,

stevet

Hello Stevet,

It seems that you have posted your question in the wrong forum section so it may not get answered. The ASA is an Enterprise product and you have posted in the Small Business Router section.

Please post your question in the main Security forum so it can get the appropriate visibility.

Thank you,

Kris

Thanks,

Additional info  I can ping from the ASA 5510 inside interface to the ASA5506 inside interface.

But can't ping from the ASA5506 inside interface to the ASA 5510 inside interface.

You can see the traffic is allowed through the firewall in the ASA logs

Power cycle ASA5510 fixes the problem
