Hello,
I have a new SMA(13.8.1-052) and I am trying to add a WSA( 11.8.2-009) but the establish connection times out. This is from the GUI.
From the cli of SMA when I try to telnet to the WSA, it is successful, but a little slow.
Is there any parameter I could change to complete it successfully?
Regards,
Konstantinos

SMA Management and WSA management in the same network?
SMA and WSA (appliances or VM ) ?
is your DNS resolution ok for WSA and SMA ?
Test :
> telnet WSAIP 22
GUI :
Log into the GUI -> Management Appliance -> Centralized Services -> Security Appliances -> Add the IP address & hostname in the appropriate fields -> Establish Connection then Test Connection.

Hello @balaji.bandi,
Yes, they are on the same network and they are both virtual.
The WSA is ok with DNS. The SMA I am not sure. But the establish connection has the IP also.
When I am performing the telnet from cli with the IP I am connected properly.
Is there a way to add the hostname and the IP of the WSA to the SMA?
Regards,
Konstantinos

Thank you Balaji,
I will update once the DNS is OK.
