When my Firefox users got to a URL the are prompted for username and password. If a user hits cancel, they get WWW_AUTH_REQUIRED. However, If they leave the feilds Blank and hit OK. The web site comes up. Doing a web tracking on the Ironport for the clients IP address shows the site is allowed through DefaultGroup Access. Any Ideas as to why this might happen?

Hello,
I suggest you do access logs check instead, to workout from there, why you are getting such results. This appears to be some identity configuration issue.

Edadios thanks for the reply. I think I found my culprit. My identity for required authentication had "Support Guest Privileges" checked. Which is allowing not only blank logins but incorrect ones to get in to the default global policies. I also realized that the logins have to be in the form DOMAIN\user in order to authenticate correctly. Thanks again.
