Need Help! We have two ISE server running on a VM and we wanted to change the core from 1 to 2.
Changing the number of core to 2 required shutting down the server.
Is the RSV ISE server after I shutdown and power back on will preempt its original role of Primary? Or should I manually make it as a Primary?
RSV and BRC is just the name of the DC.
Thank you.

how is this confiured ?
If they configured as Loadbalance, all your Service configured in the same Box like Mnt/PSN. it automatically detect and failure of the node and send the traffic to active one. once the secondary come back load share automatically. same situation on primary.

It all depends on the persona:
But are you sure that even two cores are enough? Depending on the ISE version that is far less than needed for normal operation. And while being offline also adjust the RAM if needed.

So the current Primary ISE server will still be the Pimary?

Unless you have configured PAN failover which is not on by default. But with 1 Core, I assume that you run an ancient ISE-version that does not have that option.
