Iron Port deployment question

We are looking to deploy an IronPort s370, and I was wondering if it can be configured to support BOTH transparent (wccp) and Explicit Forward mode (inline proxy basically).

I'd like to take one subnet and enforce transparent (wccp) proxy on it

I'd like to take another and have users directly authenticate with the IronPort (which will redirect to AD) before accessing the web.

I would also like to do L4 traffic monitoring

Can I do all this?

Yes. Configure it for "transparent", the explicit proxy will still be running, so you can redirect to it explicitly.

You can think of L4TM as seperate from the proxy stuff, so whatever you do to the proxy, its still there...
