Ironport S160 web proxy issus

HI:

  We  have a ironport s160 as a  web proxy server, it is work well in last 3 years.

In our company, employees is not allowed to access internet web site for mail ,such as mail.163.com ,hotmail.com,

Recently, Ali cloud instead Yahoo! Mail, I found we can access http://mail.aliyun.com in our network,but this is not allowed,

Who can tell me how to solve this problem?

    The Ironport s160 OS is 6.3.0, the  WSA web filter policy is not allowed employees to access web-based Email,but now we can access web-base Email http://mail.aliyun.com, Does the http://mail.aliyun.com site is not in the

web-based Email(1038) database???

Hello Qiuju,

The link provided by you was not under the category of web-base email. I have submitted the link to be considered by our internal team as web-based email. This Url was being considered as a non categorized URL by the appliance, If you have the action set to monitor for these kinds of URLS on the policy then your users will be able to go to this URL.

Since i have already submitted the URL to our team, The change should take affect on Monday. Kindly check back on Monday and if you still see the issue happening please open a TAC case.

In the future you can also submit such uncategorized URLS using the tool below(Please login using your CCO id:

https://securityhub.cisco.com/web/submited_urls

Also, In order to avoid any future issues with the appliance kindly upgrade your appliance, 6.3 is a very old version of AsyncOS. Our latest version is 7.5
