We are doing an Ironport implementation on a network that it is 80% MACs based. The WAS is integrated with AD for user authentication, everything works fine with the AD groups and access policies, the only issue we are facing is with MACs where the default browser is Safari. The SSO option does not work when using this browser, if you use Firefox the user does not get prompt for authentication but on Safari they do.
Has anybody found a solution or workaround for this?
TIA.

You can't use SSO with Safari & Mac.
To bypass autentication popup, You can make new identity and add Safari to user-agent field and choose exempt from authentication for this identity.

Hi Mart,
When you configure the proxy on MAC, it gives you the option to include the domain\username and the password for authenticaiton. Putting in these values should help as well. But this may not work well with other applications which may be using the system wide proxy settings.
Kind Regards
