Hi
we are implementing a pac file based failover for Ironport Web security, the pac file return the proxys with the following syntax:
return "PROXY 10.10.10.1:8080; PROXY 10.10.10.2:8080;";
if the primary proxy (10.10.10.1) goes down, and we are using IE9, the browsing experience gets very slow. I think IE keep trying to contact the primary proxy for a very long time before send the connection to the secondary proxy, so it add a delay of 30 to 40 seconds for a page to load!!!
in Firefox the failover works fine.
There is a way to resolve these issue with IE??
