URL filtering+caching issue

Hello all,

I have ASA+Websense URL filtering working good. Then i need to implement web caching on this setup. I cannot figure out how it can work or where caching server should sit in the network. 

Anyway i look at it, i think it will break our URL filtering because Websense filters traffic based on AD usernames.

Hi,

When you configure WCCP the ASA will only redirect the traffic. The user identification will be still handle by the Websense server. Remember that the ASA has the limitation the the client and the server (websense) must be behind the same interface.
