Where do I start? I don't have Cisco software.

I have not knowingly downloaded or installed any Cisco products, but I am being harrassed by Cisco!

I am a member of a forum at www.taxationweb.co.uk, and after I post there, a response is notified to me that looks like this.

http://www.taxationweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=39299&p=146956&e=146956

I now receive responses that look like this:

http://secure-web.cisco.com/auth=11Sh_lqQ66VLFpvIc9Qxj60zMCRhsn&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.taxationweb.co.uk%2Fforum%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ff%3D18%26t%3D33034%26p%3D147267%26e%3D147267

Somehow this piece of Cisco security is hijacking my notices, which it then scans until it times out and then lets me proceed to the forum.

I've searched my computer and there is no Cisco software installed.

I've asked my ISP about this and although they sent me a link to download an uninstaller, it was for f-secure and didn't work.

How do I get rid of this Cisco malware?

Your company or ISP has put that in place. That isnt installed on your computer.

I just looked at this again and realized whats going on Your ISP has put an Cisco Ironport Email Security appliance in place. It checks mail for malware, spam, etc. Also, any links in emails are checked, and if the box is doesn't know much about the link, it replaces the link with a redirect to Cisco's cloud based web filter, just in cas that link points you at malware...

So again, check with your ISP....
