All New Webex app

Hi,

Does anybody have any information on the roadmap for the Webex apps? Is the intention to retire the Webex Meetings app and force everybody to use this new Webex app? Is productivity tools being retired as well? How will meetings only users see the app if we do not want them to have the messaging components?

I looked up a couple videos that were on Youtube but they appeared pretty vague and the looks like they are bringing the meetings experience over but is not there yet.

Here is a Cisco Live Presentation that explains the 5 different modes on pages 20-21 & 28. The modularity is configurable by your IT department using Control Hub. I do not know when these options will become available but I am sure we will get notified in the "What's New for the Latest Channel of WebEx Meetings"

The 5 Modes are listed below:

- Messaging Mode

- Calling Mode

- Devices Pairing Mode

- Meetings Mode

- Full Collaboration Mode
