Connecting to Webex Audio using Computer on a Mac

I'm using Cisco Webex Meetings on a Mac (version 39.5.18.19, MacOS 10.14.6) and when I launch CWM to connect, I'm presented with the audio connection options (I will call in/Call Me/Connect Using Computer).  When I select Connect Using Computer, CWM tells me that I need to install some software and provides a button to download the required software.  This downloads AT&TVoIP (v 1.0.228) - software which I already have on my computer and which appears to run when I launch it but its hard to tell - there isn't any user interface but Activity Monitor shows the app is running.  Regardless of having it installed, CWM never recognizes it and always prompts me to install the required software.  Anyone have some insight into getting calling using the computer working in CWM on a Mac?
