Is it possible to permanently mute participants in a Webex meeting?

We have just moved into learning remotely and running classes through Webex meetings. We have had some issues with students independently turning on their microphones.  Just wondering if there was a way to stop them from turning on their microphones or lock them out of this function?

Currently, participants are able to unmute themselves in Webex Meetings. However, you CAN prevent this in Webex Trainings or Webex Events.
