Hi all,
I am managing two free Webex accounts in one computer, one is the group account for scheduling a weekly meeting (account A with domain meetings3pac) and the other one is my personal account (account B with domain meetings7pac).
I encountered the following problem. After installing the Webex Meeting desktop app, I first logged into account A, scheduled a meeting and sent out an invitation email to account B. Then I signed out account A from the Webex app and logged into account B. I then clicked the URL link in the invitation email sent to the account B trying to join the meeting as B. To my surprise, I was joining the meeting as A instead. I was able to reproduce this problem in three different computers with other personal accounts (C, D and E) and both chrome and firefox web browsers. When I attempt to join the meeting created by A, I will always be joining as A instead of other accounts which are currently logged into the Webex app if I have logged into account A before.
One solution that I found was to join the meeting using the Webex app with meeting id instead. I was able to join as the correct account this way (Not A but B, C, D and E which logged into the Webex app). Another way is to completely remove/uninstall everything related to Webex in my computer and reinstall the Webex app and only log into my personal account. I was able to use the URL link to join the meeting with the correct identity.
I wonder whether anyone has encountered a similar problem and what would be the solution to this? I am suspecting it is to do with the domain of the accounts.
Many thanks in advance.
