Hi everyone,
I’m currently trying to register a Yealink AX83H Wi-Fi handset as a Customer-Managed SIP Device in Cisco Webex Calling.
Steps I’ve taken so far:
Added the device in Control Hub as Customer Managed Device and obtained SIP credentials (username, password, outbound proxy).
Configured AX83H Web UI (Account 1): SIP username, password, outbound proxy, port 5061, transport set to TLS, SRTP set to “Optional”.
Firmware is up to date (version: 180.87.0.5).
Device connects to Wi-Fi and gets an IP, but registration fails (“Register Failed”).
My questions:
Has anyone managed to get the AX83H working with Webex Calling?
Are there any AX83H-specific tweaks needed (TLS certificate handling, SRTP mode, outbound proxy format)?
Since other Yealink models (T-series, W handsets) appear on Webex supported lists, is the AX83H simply not officially supported yet?
Any tips, working configs, or feedback would be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Bastian
