Hello experts,
Is there a way to configure speed dials on Cisco basic phones (e.g., 6821) beyond their available line buttons in Webex Calling? Like using a feature access code or any other method to achieve this.
I couldn’t find any relevant documents in Cisco. While I know that translation patterns could be used for abbreviated dialling either location-wide or organization-wide, I'm looking for guidance to allow specific users or phones to have their customizable speed dials.
Regards
Shalid

Thanks, @dtibbe
Unfortunately, there's no way(at least I couldn't find) to manage this directly from Control Hub (at the admin level) beyond configuring the phone line or translation pattern. However, I found a Cisco document that explains speed dial configuration is local to the phone, and I’ve prepared a quick guide for the end customer.
I don’t have the original URL, but I’m attaching the document here for anyone who might need it in the future.
Regards,
Shalid

You may also configure FACs as speed dials. A list of available FACs can be found at https://help.webex.com/0zgzwj/
You may configure speed dials in your phone https://help.webex.com/nzc83s9/ or devide/location/organization based via control hub https://help.webex.com/nb0brcp/
In Control Hub, go to the device and select configure layout. This is an example for a button to enable call forwarding always to extensino 123:
There are also location/organization based softkey layouts configurable, cf. https://help.webex.com/ny1ibtz/
