Webex Calling and Microsoft Teams Functionality Questions

We recently integrated WebEx Callint with Microsoft Teams and have found a few oddities. Looking for help to confirmt these are limitations or if they can be addressed through configuration changes:

1. When initiating a call from Microsoft Teams usign Webex Calling, DTMF tones for phone menus are not being recognized. For examplet press 1 for sales. What is the fix for this?

2. We converted from Cisco Spark to Webex Calling and now the voice mail transcription feature is no longer working. Is voice mail transcription a feature in Webex Calling? If yes, where is it configured?

3. Incomming calls are only presented in the WebEx calling Application. Since we are integrated with Microsoft Team, we'd like incomming calls to be presneted in Microsoft Teams as well. Is this possible.?

Hi @ross.sweetman

1. We will soon be deploying an enhancement to address the user experience around DTMF/ IVR (targeting March). The enhancement will minimise the MSFT Teams interface and make the webex calling dial pad available in a more user friendly way.

2. Voicemail transcription is not natively supported as part of webex calling. However you can setup voicemail to email and leverage 3rd party transcription services... or the Dubber Call Recording addon to WXC can provide voicemail transcription.

3. Not aware of any changes to inbound calling, inbound calls terminate to webex app.

@olunney who should I talk about the Dubber Call Recording being able to provide voicemail transcription?  We have a customer that is very much missing the voicemail transcription feature from Cisco Spark and we are trying to find them an easy to use alternative ASAP.

There is an "Ask Dubber" space, there are lots of Dubber folks who may anser that specific question: http://cs.co/JoinDubber

I think there are some plans about Voicemail Transcription directly in Webex Calling, no definite ETA yet but also not in the very far future..
