Cannot get my computer microphone to be recognized in Web Ex

I am a reading tutor at a local middle school. They use Web Ex as their platform for virtual learning. I've downloaded Web Ex and for some reason I cannot get Web Ex to recognize my computer's microphone. I've done a lot of troubleshooting and also plugged in an external microphone (updated drivers, checked privacy settings, etc). My microphone does work in Skype and Zoom, so I presume it's an interface glitch. I'm not all that computer savvy, so I don't know how else to troubleshoot the issue.
My computer is a Lenovo ideapad 330, Windows 11. Thank you!

Hello @gadshill,
could you please provide a screenshot of Settings -> Audio -> Microphone within the Webex app?
Could you please also tell the installed Webex app version? In order to get this information, please click on your avatar in the top left corner and then on Help -> Info.
