  • Hi all,

We want to add MS Teams on webex room kit pro, logging on control hub, Hybrid, I see 'video integration Microsoft Teams' but not 'set up' ; just 'more'.

So, what can we do ??

Thanks for your help.

I think you're working to add the MS Teams button as an option on the Room Kit so users can select it to join a MS Teams meeting.  If this is correct, here's a link to a video with information on how to add it the button:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsgffYJ8gss&t=718s

Here's a link also to the DevNet code to add the macro to the device.

Hopefully these help with getting the MS Teams settings you're looking for.

Thank you for sharing the video @morac.  While I was just needing to add the MS Teams meeting option to the home screen and keep it as a Webex Device, the video you shared is for setting it up as a MS Teams device.  I'm not familiar with the dual registration with MS Teams and Webex or if it's possible.

Since I posted my original response to @jediaelbouanga4 , I have found discovered that the newer devices have the option to add an MS Teams button to the homescreen without programming a Macro to add this option to the home screen.

I'm including a link with some information about software versions needed to support various set ups with Microsoft.  I haven't fully reviewed all the information but thought it might be helpful for anyone that is trying to make their Webex Devices work with other services and keep it easy for users.

Hi @jediaelbouanga4 & @Kathy N.

It appears Teams can now be natively added to Webex OS.

I came across a video that helps explain the setup and configuration, however, it does not detail how to do dual registration for both Webex and Teams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4na4YHr6zA

Has anyone done the dual registration and if so could they share what the Webex panel looks like and if there's a Teams button? Need to explicitly know how to switch between Webex and Teams.

Thank you,
