Cisco Webex Room 55's camera

Hi,

Does anyone knows if there is a way to connect the camera of the Cisco Webex Room 55 to your laptop? So that if you are in a Teams meeting, the other participants can see you from the Webex's camera. It'll be useful since we are using Teams while a lot for collaboration and I'd like to be able to utilize the Webex's camera for group meetings through Teams.

Thanks,

toansep

@toansep , being able to automatically join a Webex meeting with a Cisco video endpoint is one of the great features of Webex Teams.

As you can read in the below article, your Webex Teams client can automatically pair with the video endpoint located in your meeting room (like for example the Room55). Once the pairing has been done, you can start or join the meeting by using the camera of the video endpoint (instead of using the camera of your laptop)
The Webex Teams app also allows you to wireless share content from your laptop to the video endpoint (and to other participants in the meeting)

(Maybe you'll have to contact your administrator in order to enable the pairing-capability of your Room55 device)

Short video about the Pair and Share capabilities of Webex Teams (in the video they are using a DX80, but it would be the same with a Room55 or any other Cisco endpoint):
