HI,
I am a District Coach helping teachers prepare for In-Person Concurrent learning. Our teachers will be logging in twice from two different devices so that they can project from their computer to a projector from one, and then still see students in grid view from another. One of the largest concerns our teachers have is that when projecting the webex screen for students in Person to see students at home, the Chat will be projected as well. Often students private chat the teacher, and the teacher does not want those private chats to be projected. We were hoping that by making the secondary device the Host, and only allowing chat to the Host and Everyone, that any private chats would Only go to the Secondary device, but not the primary device that is connected to the projector. However, when using this setup, the Private chats still went to both the Primary and the Secondary devices, I'm guessing because it was the same account. Can you help clarify the steps that need to be in place for the Secondary Device (not projected) to be the only device accepting the Private chat? (I should also mention that the primary device was listed as a Cohost, and we did not try that computer only as the presenter and not cohost).
