Send TCP-Commands to a device with xapi

Hello Community!

I'd like to control a Panasonic Beamer with the RoomKit EQ. The Beamer accept commands over TCP. Is it possible

to send TCP-Commands with the XAPI-functions on RoomOS? I have not seen any commands in the xapi documentation.

An other option were to control the beamer with RS-232. Have someone experience to control devices with

Cisco RoomKits respectively with RoomOS?

I’m investigating something similar.  I can make it send PUT POST but it has the whole standard html package because it expects the other end to be a web server.  But in fact I just want plain text.
