Webex Device Connector on Windows Server or is there a way to bypass this application

For the deployment of "Webex Edge for Devices" with on-prem registered devices on UCM you need to use the Device Connector application. According to the installation guide this application is only supported on Win10 or MacOS. Is there a way to install it on a Windows server 2016 instead or to deploy Webex Edge for Devices without the Device Connector?

Just tested on Win Server 2012 - seems to work. I guess the app will also work on Win servers 2016 & 2019.
