Solved: DLP and Encrytpred Files

Dear Developers,

I have a question from a customer scenario. If a protected org user uploads an encrypted file in a Webex space, how will DLP factor and find out if it contains PII, sensitive info, SSN, credit card #, etc?

For files, DLP works by having a 3rd party service download the file and scanning it. It would be up to that 3rd party service to be able to decrypt and scan the file to determine if it contains that data and then execute whatever logic to either delete the file, or whatever needs to happen with it.
