Text format is lost when editing the message after a certain time

If we send any message with markdown in webex, and try to edit the message after a certain time, the markdown formats are not visible anymore and has to be redone again to edit the message. Is this expected?

Nope. This also occurs if you edit the message in another device.

The issue is known and I've created a TAC case a year ago or so, also escalated it via our CSM. As I've changed my company since then, I did not follow up anymore, but obviously that annoying issue has not yet been resolved.
