We have several teachers that have used the Stage view in the past. The latest version of meetings, 41.4.5.x still has this available but we couldn't find directions online that would let us synch only 1 person on "stage." Below are the directions we found that would let us get the teacher on stage and then synch for all....
Once meeting has started:
- Click on Layout in upper right corner of meeting window
- Select Stack or Side By Side View
- Click on circle with 3 dots in video feed
- Select Move to Stage
- Click on Layout in upper right corner of meeting window
- Click on Show Active Speaker in Stage
- Click on Layout in upper right corner of meeting window
- Click on Synch my Stage for Everyone
This is a cumbersome process to get 1 person on stage and we found out it doesn't synch the view for students on iPads.
My main question is are there any plans to simplify the process to get 1 speaker on stage and synch with all attendees? Follow up question relates to iPad use as I hope this will be added to this OS also since all students between Kindergarten and 3rd grade have iPads in our District.
