Add a chat function to Webex for Linux

Dear Webex team,

I appreciate the effort you put into a Webex client for Linux, especially the new UI design. However, the chat function is still missing in Webex 41.11.0.20608. Are there any plans to add this in the near future?

And another year has passed. I just joined a new organisation that uses Webex, and, coming from Zoom, I actually could not believe that the chat feature is not available when even a whiteboard is. This makes Webex actually unusable for me and I am by no means the only one here using Linux as the only OS.

Is there any update on this? It's a significant hindrance to widespread adoption of webex on Ubuntu in our organization, and we really need it  put in place.

This feature has unfortunately been pushed out until later this year. Fall timeframe is the last I heard.

This isn't "solved" yet. Do we have an ETA on when this will happen? We're already well past March.
