I recently purchased a Black Magic Design UltraStudio Recorder 3G with plans to connect a Canon M50 DSLR as a webcam on my MacBook Pro (Intel Chipset). WebEx Teams recognizes the setup and will display the video in Settings, but when I join a WebEx Meeting, I have to unplug and plug the Thunderbolt connection (for each meeting) before WebEx Meetings will recognize the video source. Here is my setup:

I replaced the Black Magic Design box with an Elgato HD60 S+ capture card and it works fine without the problem described above. The main difference there is the Elgato is USB-C (3.0) while the UltraStudio Recorder is Thunderbolt. I contacted Black Magic Design and they don't see anything wrong with my setup, and it works fine with their software. Any ideas of how to troubleshoot this setup or if this will work with the Thunderbolt connection? Thanks, Jim
