Closed caption language choice

I attended a webex meeting last week and almost all the participants were speaking Spanish. It would have been great if I could have followed a close caption real time converted to English.

I believe this feature is being released very shortly, via the Webex Assistant closed captioning feature. They were targeting Feb 2021 for this feature, not sure if they're still on track.

Nonsense. Nonsense. Nonsense. Stop putting in false updates that the problem is solved. THE PROBLEM IS NOT, REPEAT NOT SOLVED.

Any news on this topic?

Would like to use CC with German language.

Thank you

Heiko

Hi @Heiko Maier ,

Thanks for your question. Real-time translation is available as an add-on in Webex Meetings and Events(new). German is one of the 100 languages available to translate in real-time.

Straight from the Help Center - "Real-time translation is an add-on for Meetings. If you purchased Webex from a Cisco sales representative or partner, contact a Cisco sales representative or partner to purchase the add-on."

Here is a link to the Help Center article - https://help.webex.com/en-US/article/7dzhht/Real-time-translation-in-Webex-Meetings-and-Webex-Events-(new)
