DX-80 Tilt Function

Hello, I just bought a DX-80 and I'm trying to setup the tilt silver bar in the back. It almost appears as if it's spring loaded and won't tilt at all. It can go maybe about 20 degrees tilt and then it snaps back flush to the screen. I have taken it off and tried to troubleshoot, etc. Anyone ever seen this issue on a DX-80 before. Thanks, C

Adjust the kickstand while the unit is upright; the spring is there to cancel out the weight so it holds a position under tension.
