As a meeting member in a hybrid work community, we are often in mixed collections of participants. Some members are remote, and Webex will show the speaker's name in their camera view. Other members are in a conference room, and when they are using Webex hardware & software, the camera can zoom in one the speaker. But we only see the conference room name.
If the speakers were wearing a QR or AR code image, something taped to the back of their badges, or a table top placard, the system could recognize that and use it to display the speaker's name in the video feed.
This would help identify the speakers to the rest of the participants, especially in a world where some of us have never met in person.
