General Spaces created in Webex Teams based on class enrollment without authorization

I have recently set up Webex Teams to use for teaching and several general spaces were created automatically that include all students on my class roster for individual courses. I think that I have a link between the online Webex scheduler and Webex Teams that is creating a general space when I schedule a meeting or training. What might this link be and can I disable it? These are large classes and the only way to remove the general space is to individually remove each student from the team and then leave the space, but I do not want to do this repeatedly as I have already.

Anytime a team space is created, a General space is created and cannot be disabled. https://help.webex.com/en-us/m4hfiu/Webex-Teams-6-Special-Things-About-General-Spaces

I did not create a team. The team was automatically generated. I have individually removed each person, over 500 on all the extra teams, and left the teams one-by-one after that. There were educator connect bots on each team, I think this is where the problem was and I removed those as well.
So far no more teams have been created, but still an irritating problem.
