No, removing this keyboard shortcut seems to have no effect. ctrl-shift-z still stops the screen sharing. Can we get a dev here to look at this bug?

Oh, they fixed this now? Finally!

Unfortunately the keybindings seem to reset randomly?

There have been sporadic instances of an app update losing local user preferences - which of course is a problem & a bug.

You’ll need to open a TAC case if you feel there is an actual product defect. The support forums are primarily peer-to-peers; Cisco usually isn’t acting upon what is discussed here.

Where/How to open TAC case?

First search result: Create a TAC Support Case. Since this is apparently new for you, be prepared to jump through typical tier one help desk-type questions, e.g. have you restarted, have you reinstalled. You seem to have two problem statements that need to be investigated:

  1. The Stop Sharing keyboard shortcut continues to trigger when another app is in the foreground after unchecking Global in Preferences > Keyboard shortcuts.
  2. Changes to keyboard shortcuts, such as unchecking Global, are lost when the app upgrades from version X to Y

You will almost certainly need to supply logs from the app, maybe a screen recording. If they agree that there is a defect, don't let them placate you with "see if it's fixed in the next monthly release"; it's a stall tactic. They owe you a customer-visible defect ID in the bug toolkit and, although you cannot see this second part, to link your support case number to the internal Jira ID so it counts as a customer-found defect (a bad thing for the developers and Q&A teams).

Thanks for the heads up! I found the TAC I think and already got the "have you restarted" question... Your information will help me get help here. thanks again.
