how to have meeting recording which includes shared content

Hello

I'm new to using WebEx, subscribed to the free plan, Mac user. Am trying to record a WebEx Meeting with shared content. But it only shows the person speaking, not the meeting content, shared materials, annotations made by presenter etc. I would like the full content on the playback. Can anyone explain how to do this?

I read that it needs to be .wrf recording for the full content instead of .mp4, but I can't find the option to change this from the default of .mp4. Typing in .wrf as the file name manually doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

When using a free account, the recording-feature is limited;
perhaps @Mike_Brezicky missed that info in your posting as he suggested to check the settings of your webex-Site.

In the free plan the recording-feature is limited to do the recording directly on your computer.
Paid liceses additionally allow the recording to happen in the Cisco-Cloud.

Perhaps you may want to try a work-around by using a 3rd party-tool to record your screen: OBS

In this case, I am not sure about your audio-part, perhaps that needs some investigation(?).

mp4 recordings are fine for content.

Please login to your webex site, go to Preferences > Recordings. There you should be able to see a list of recording layouts that can be selected for the view.
