Is there any way to claim my presence in someone's personal room?

Hi everyone,
Last week, I was invited to join an interview meeting on Webex. I came to the interviewer's personal room around 10mins earlier as instructed, and waited for them to come. But even one hour after the scheduled time, no one showed up. I emailed them to ask if they had any unexpected event (I was informed in advance that it was likely they would come late), and if they want to reschedule another meeting. But I was told that I did not show up, and that was the reason my job application failed automatically. However, there is a fact that I had never left their personal room during that one hour.
My question is that "Is there any technical way to prove my presence?"
Thank you for your time and your expertise!

Hi @Dignity

Sorry to hear about your experience. Thanks for asking your question in the Webex Community.

When you joined the meeting and sat in their waiting room, what did the screen say? Did it say something along the lines of Waiting for the host to join? If you are in their waiting room you should see a small button that says Notify host which will send them an email notification that you are in their waiting room, that will claim your presence. The host of the meeting should also see a notification like the screenshot below.

After typing this, I realize you are looking for a way to prove that you were there. Do you have a Webex account yourself? Login to your account on the browser, and you might be able to do a couple of things here. Visit your list of completed meetings, and it will tell you the timeframes of your attendance. One thing I am not sure is if it will record you in the waiting room as attendance.

If this took place in their personal room, you will be able to show that you were recently in their personal room.  When you login to your Webex  account on the browser, you will instantly see what personal rooms you have been in on the top right side of your screen. You won't see a timeframe that you were there, but you should still see their name pop up there.

If this is the only meeting you have ever attended with Webex, you may also be able to show that you attended a meeting on that date and show you were waiting there for an hour. Check out those insights that will pop up when you login to Webex on the browser. Sorry to hear about the jam you are in, that is never fun. I really hope this helps in some way. Please keep me tuned in and good luck in your future endeavors.

Hello Mr.  Cole Callahan,

Thank you for your help and your care.

According to your guidance, it should have been a fault on my side not be able to figure out how to use Webex.

Attached is the pic capturing the personal room where I was in waiting for the host (the name of the host and my face have been hidden).

There was nothing like "Waiting for the host to join" or "Notify host".

One more thing to mention is that I joined Webex as a guest that time, so I had no account at all.

Anyway, my curiosity of whether I was actually in that room brought me to this community. I have no intention to fight back the host.

This case only proves that I should prepare myself better next time.

Once again, thank you for your help, Mr. Cole Callahan.

Regards,

Dignity
