Just list of contact names

How could I just show the list of my contacts, like in Jabber?  This Webex screen takes up too much room. I want just the list of contacts and then when I click on the message a message window should open up.

There is a narrow mode, for lack of a better term, but it’s only exposed when an admin disables the messaging workload for a user (and Business Texting for Webex Calling, if applicable), making the app calling and/or meetings only. See turn off messaging or calling for Webex App users for example screenshots under the user experience without basic messaging heading.

None of the current generation apps - Webex, Slack, MSFT Teams - take the hub window and separate conversation window approach that Jabber/S4B/Sametime did AFAIK. You could submit a feature request for this but you’ll need a solid business case for it; the product backlog is extensive.

Edit: If you’re willing to double-click, you can pop a conversation out into a separate window. You might be able to resize the main window enough to roughly approximate the desired effect.

You can save a list of contacts in Webex in the Contacts icon.

You can either add contacts manually or login to your Webex account and upload a file with your contacts.  Here's a link to those instructions as well.
