My students see gray boxes blocking a PowerPoint I am sharing in class

Hi, I am a college professor who has used Webex for many years for my online classes, and this semester a problem seems to have emerged.  When I am sharing a PowerPoint presentation (or a Microsoft Word document) with my students, their view of it appears to be obscured by my Chat and List of Participants windows (apparently they see these windows as gray boxes on their end).  I like to keep these windows prominently on my screen so I can see when students are ready to participate, and I don't mind the windows partially obscuring my own view of a PowerPoint since I'm already very familiar with the content on it.  Is there a way I can keep the Chat and List of Participants windows prominently on my screen without students seeing them as gray boxes obscuring the PowerPoint on their end?  (I don't recall this being a problem in the past.)  Thanks!

@John Fitzgerald hi, normally, participants will see graybox, when the presenter select application level presenting. if there is any  application open at top of shared application at the presenters computer, participants will see the gray box, because they only allowed to see the shared application. you can try below options.

1. share complete screen (not application level) which will show everything on your screen to participants.

2. connect second monitor and share second screen to participants and use 1st screen for other applications simultaneously.
