Hey Community,
I would like to share a part of my screen for a presentation with Powerpoint where I want to use the Presenter view option, so that only I can see my notes. Does somebody knows wether this is possible with Webex ? I know that it works with Zoom.
Thank you very much.
Greetings form Rica

I noticed that there is a page (https://community.cisco.com/t5/webex-meetings-and-webex-app/share-only-a-part-of-a-screen/td-p/4672950) informing how it will work.
When will this feature be available?

this feature should be available in the 43.2 (February 2023) release.
Best regards
Igor

Webex only supports sharing a full screen or a single application. So if you've two screens, simply share the screen with the slides and have the presenter view at the other.
You may share your slides in a normal Powerpoint window or as PDF and have your notes in another application. So they will not be seen either.
Another idea would be to use a virtual camera that captures the slide part of the presenter view and share that camera in Webex.

Thank you for your ideas! I unfortunately only have one screen... and it might be difficult to continue with the slides while being in another application for the notes. I will figure it out.
For the virtual camera can you recommend an application?
Thanks again!

The shared application does not need to stay on top, so maybe you can have your notes window in front and just switch over to go to the next slide.
I used OSB (https://obsproject.com/) also as a virtual camera for Webex. Worked fine for me
